Joydens Riding Club
Riding Lesson Joydens Riding Club was set up in 1953 and became an affiliated riding club in 1956, it is one of the elite band of clubs associated to the British Horse Society when this process was first set up by the BHS in the fifties to help sort out the welfare problems with the horse.

It has been a very successful club with many championship wins to it name and nearly always being represented at the National Finals each September at Malvern, Worcs.

It has a particularly strong Junior section and their juniors have won the National Showjumping final two years running in 1994 & 1995, and have been in the top six since then.

The riding club does not have a base of its own, preferring instead to encourage its enthusiastic committee members to use facilities in and around the riding community, thereby enhancing communication and co-operation from riders and many equestrian businesses some of which are linked to the Old Bexley website.

Many shows and events are held throughout the year from indoorshowjumping to dressage and beach rides for the less competitive, there is a good social section for every member and their families.

Membership is open to all enthusiastic 'horsey' people, even if you do not own a horse or pony.
