Pet ID is a National Companion Animal Database. The price of a chip includes lifetime registration.

These chips are only 12mm long, contain no moving parts or batteries and so do nor wear out. Implanting takes a second and is painless. The chip does not move about and is read using a special scanner which emits a harmless radio signal. These are ISO regulated chips so the numbers are unique.
